Injury rehabilitation work.

Working to rehabilitate injuries sustained by individuals in training or recreational activities -- working either concurrently with Physical Therapy or separately. Also work on patients that Physical Therapists feel need continuing work once their course of PT is finished. Assisting people in returning to fully active lives.


Massage to professional dancers and musicians.

Releasing of tight areas in muscles which would inhibit fluidity of movement, both for dancers, and also for musicians playing an instrument or singing. Working with professional and amateur Argentine tango dancers, professional and amateur flamenco dancers, professional guitarists, percussionists, saxophone players and professional and amateur singers. Work away from or during rehearsals, and also work backstage at performances.

Sports massage work before and after sporting events.
Worked as part of the Boston Marathon Sports Massage Team for 5 years, doing both pre-event work at Hopkinton and post-event work at the finish line. Have worked at cycling events such as the Tour de Cure of the American Diabetes Association, and running events such as the Newburyport MA 10 mile race during Yankee Homecoming, a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon. Do regular work also on runners training for Marathons or other races, swimmers preparing for Triathlons and other long-distance swims, and on recreational cyclists, runners, and swimmers. Have worked as well at martial arts outdoor events.
